Is there anyone out there that wants their news agency to do an interview with Minister Talon of the Spacing Guild? His people have let it be known that he'd be interested in doing a half-hour or hour long live broadcast interview with a respectable, conservative financial news agency with resources on Kaitain.

I'd prefer to do it via off-board email, since my messages are always at 50/50 and Chat probably wouldn't work since Minister Talon is a lot smarter than I am (i.e. I expect I'll have to look stuff up if the questions get specific).

Just a thought. If anyone's interested, let me know here or by messages. If no one is, I'll write up something on my own.

I've quickly added a Features channel to the INS website where stories like this can be posted. Reports Team staff should use a journalistic approach when handling interviews: they may be an opportunity for good PR for the interviewee but there are likely important questions to be asked as well...

This is the sort of thing that I'd like to see more of actually. To accomodate it I think that I'm going to make some more news sources like Royal Business News perhaps and maybe Imperial Society page. If we can get more house leaders, nobles or other important people to play along it could make for some interesting features.

If you were able to get anything together before S.G. left, then please feel free to post it up using editorial license to complete a story. If you weren't able to conduct the interview or get anything together then no problem: this can be something to consider in future.

It would take a lot of artistic liscense. He wanted to play it all out long hand and we had only gotten to introducing the director and setting the scene in our exchanged emails. I think it probably best to keep this in mind for future faction interviews. Pity though. I had high hopes for it.

I think it's safe to say you can call this one a fluke.
