Title: The Trial of Stukav
Type of RP: Internal (Consensual)

Story:
Herod Aiantis attended the proceedings of the Stukav trials as much as he could.

He would also meet with nobles and send diplomats to reclaim the lands of the Charazet family. Bribes had to be used but the price was low.

Summary:
  • The Stukav trials are allowed to continue
  • The Charazet family is given back their lands, 20s will be paid

OOC: show
Is it too much for 1 RP?

OOC: show
This RP was separated from RP - Political Painting. However, funds were already sent to the RGM account in name of that RP.

Title:The Trial of Stukav
Type of RP:Consensual (Internal)

GM Ruling:
PAID: 20s
Approved. This may continue to be written as the player deems necessary.
The trial of the former and short lived Governor-General of Eirdanos was a spectacle in the Eirdanos courts as the selected noble jurors listened to the evidence presented by the defence and prosecution. While the lands had been given back to the Chazaret family and compensation paid for the assassination, a case presented to the Court of the First Instance was only narrowly avoided by House Aiantis which would have undoubtedly resulted in unwanted attention from the Landsraad.

Lasting a week in duration, the verdict was entirely predictable; guilty. The one saving grace for the scape-goat of Stukov was the inability for the jury to meet a full consensus on the death penalty, thus the punishment being 15 years of imprisonment in one of the Eirdanos-wide renown prisons founded by the dwindling Alexin regime, truly a place of horror in which execution would seem more human by contrast. The trial, permitted to run its course and the acceptance and application of law by House Aiantis has gone some way to ensuring the nobles of Eirdanos feel as though Aiantisian rule will be subject to due process, and not an entirely corrupt regime.

House Aiantis gains +2 to its Domestic Respect category pool.

Title: The Trial of Stukav
Type of RP: Summary Review

Story:
"I'll get that little boy for this, you hear!" Stukav was held at each arm and dragged forward but he struggled with every bit of breath that he had left. "Mark my words, na-Marquis! I will get out and I will come for you!"
The two guards looked at each other. "I thought he was drugged?" The other shrugged.
"I am the Governor-General of Eirdanos, I order you to release me!"
"Well, I'm Shaddam's older brother so that means I outrank you, doesn't it?" One guard said sarcastically. "Get in there!"

The cell door was held open and Stukav was pushed in. No sooner had he landed in the filth that the previous occupant had caused or he was back on his feet and clawing through the bars. "Come back here! You think I'm scared of this place? I will come out of here alive and I will have all of you beheaded!"
"You're not getting out of here, mister." The voice came from the dark cell opposite Stukav.
"You just watch. Somebody will come for me sooner or later."
"They won't come soon enough." The man was crawling around and was coming towards the single light in the hallway that shone into each cell. As soon as he was close the light shone directly on his disfigured face. One side was blistered and there were boils on his chin and arms. "Pestilence, War, Famine and Death shall come to you sooner than your rescuers will."
Stukav recoiled and drew back into his own cell.

"Alas, if I still had the use of my eyes I might be able to tell you that you ahve a fine physique and will live a long healthy life." He looked in Stukav's general direction. "But the truth is, most of the new ones don't last a week."
