Dune PBeM
Dune PBeM is a play-by-email game set within the universe of Frank Herbert's Dune. Registered players take on the role of a noble House of the Landsraad, or one of the prestigious Great Schools, or one of the Fremen Sietches of Arrakis, and through political manoeuvring, intrigue, and even warfare, better themselves against their foes.

The Imperial News Service (INS)
This section of the Dune PBeM website provides in-character news coverage of game activity. The Reports Team, a group of players who have volunteered their help, compile the stories and produce them for publication. The INS is entirely player-managed and moderated and functions as an aggregated news service.
Each article is 'sourced' from one of the planets in the Imperium governed by the respective author. A player for House Atreides, for example, may write an article here and list it as having originated from the Caladan Courier on planet Caladan. Readers may perceive some bias as a result (as is the case with most real life news media) but there may well be different perspectives on the same news from different sources. Caveat lector!
