Celebration of an Empire

The Imperial Capital of Kaitan has been lushly decorated with festivities over the past month in a new Imperial effort to draw the cultural hub of the Imperium back towards Kaitan. Flexing their economic and military muscles, Imperial House Corrino has committed vast sums of solari to promote the image of the centrepiece of the Imperium. Ordered by The Emperor himself, the festivities began with a large parade of Sardukar forces which entertained crowds with a display of their precision and discipline with a ceremonial parade, followed by a heart-stopping series of combat scenarios exhibiting the prowess of the Emperor’s feared and respected troops.

Attended by dignitaries from across the Imperium, the event was ‘the place to be seen’ for Court business. Whilst Emperor Shaddam IV was unable to attend the parade marking the opening of festivities on Kaitan, the ever prominent Princess Wensicia was there to herald the Imperial House’s standard.

With further celebratory events expected to occur in the coming months and preparations well under way throughout Kaitan, the Spacing Guild has allocated extra Highliner routes to Kaitan to deal with the expected rise in tourist traffic as nobles and freemen flock to the Imperium’s capital to partake in what many consider will be the celebration of the century.
