Planet Ecaz to be returned to the Ecazi family

In a stunning move His Royal Majesty has ordered House Poritrin to abandon the valuable world of Ecaz, once held by His until recently disgraced cousines, and ordered it to be returned to the cadet family of the Corrino line. Readers might recall that not so long ago this same world was exchanged from the Ordos to the Poritrin in a deal whose political ramifications are still being felt. The Ordos at least received some small compensation for their loss. As it looks at the moment, the Poritrin will not.

This transfer has raised many questions among the gossip mongers of the court. Have the Poritrin lost that much favor with the throne? Or have the Ecazi earned so much? No answers are forthcoming at this moment so the rumors will likely grow in the vaccum of hard information.

All of this is even more remarkable in the light of speculation over recent months of the exact relationship between Houses Poritrin and Ecaz. It has been observed that the Ecazi seemed supportive, in general, of the Poritrin efforts in several areas. There were also rumors of Ecazi efforts to one day purchase their once homeworld for unknown considerations. Has the throne perhaps just expedited this for some as yet unrevealed price?

The only thing known for sure at this point is that both parties are ordered to complete the transfer as soon as possible. Whatever the Emperor is planning, He wishes for it to be done quickly.
