Recent CHOAM Activity

Perhaps unsurprisingly to the movers and shakers of the Imperium, House Alexin has recently given its two CHOAM shares to the great House Eleusis, which had significantly increased the voting and economic power of the former technocrats, weakening the already unstable House Alexin. With six shares, the Eleusis family has increased its voting power by 33%, passing over the great House Teranos and the Ixian Confederacy, both having five shares each, catching up to Houses Atreides, Maros and Leontis – once considered the most prosperous and stable families in the Landsraad.

House Alexin has, unfortunately, traded away all of the CHOAM voting privileges and is no longer considered to be one of its shareholders. It is speculated that the Alexin family had purchased the political (and perhaps military) assistance from the Eleusis, considering their shares disposable in the crisis that it finds itself in. As part of the Kanly agreement with the House Aiantis and the Golden Lion Throne, the Alexin Count will have to give up the Countly of Eirdanos if they lose – which is a high probability at this point. Lord Aiantis is a much older and experienced duelist than the teenage Alexin Count.

In different news, the Poritrin-Ziyairan CHOAM three share transfer is still awaiting approval by the CHOAM Directorship.
